“Basically, we’re replacing all the sprinkler piping, down in the garage of our building that’s got three levels. They’re 30 years old. Over that time, problems developed: Some of the piping was rusting from the inside out. So we’re in the process of replacing them. (We replaced all of the fire pumps the year before.)

“These pipes run through storage rooms, and these storage rooms are filled with storage bins, and those storage bins are filled with residents’ personal belongings. We had to empty them out — not all, but some of them — to take the pipes out. [The bins] are pretty full, and most of our residents are pretty elderly, so they, and we needed assistance.

“The board discussed the matter, and decided to hire a moving company:”
